BEING A WOMAN IN THE BLOCKCHAIN ECOSYSTEM
ISTANBUL
21 JANUARY 2023
Blockchain technology can be used in finance, art, health, notary, logistics, education etc. Various projects are taking place in the fields of technology and the usage areas of this technology, which will cover almost all sectors in the future, will expand rapidly. In 2019, we established a community called CryptoFemale and organized events and trainings for women to improve their technology literacy. This event, supported by the EU, will bring together young women who have just entered the sector - in order to eliminate the prejudices of sector representatives about women's employment in technology, and will increase the awareness of solidarity among young women thanks to the presentations of women who have achieved good success in the field of technology, especially working in the field.
OUR GOALS
-
EMPLOYMENT: Education for young women to get to know the sector, to develop projects in different fields, and awareness studies to increase the number of women in employment in the sectors.
-
SOLIDARITY: Strengthening the solidarity, community awareness and support mechanisms that women need will allow statistical data to change.
-
NETWORK: We think that it will respond to the need by providing secure communication, solidarity, support, training, producing projects and creating mechanisms that will come together with the sectors.
Thanks to the presentations and panels of women who have achieved good success working in the field in the field of blockchain, young women, our target audience, will have the chance to evaluate the challenges and opportunities they may encounter when they enter the sector.
